Our team at Clearview Vinyl Windows replaced the windows on a home in Verona recently, which featured a Prairie style pattern on the newly installed windows.

The Prairie grid style is widely credited to the architect Frank Lloyd Wright and features bold, clean lines that are usually trimmed in the colors brown, red or rust. Our customer chose to customize the style to accommodate the look and feel of the rest of the home’s exterior, utilizing white lines to compliment the existing trim on the rest of the home. This was a superb choice, raising the aesthetic value of the home.

On the front of the house we installed a large fixed picture window surrounded on each side by our popular double hung windows, all featuring the Prairie grid style. Each double hung window we installed on this home features two moving sashes or panels that tilt inwards to make cleaning and maintaining easy. In addition to the front, we also installed new double hung windows on the side and back of the home. Our customer chose to have white window frames and trims installed to compliment the rest of the home and the results are tremendous. They are very happy with the results and upgrade to the style of the home.

Each new windows also features Energy Star technology that keeps the temperatures inside warm in the winter and cool in the summer, eliminating any drafts that old worn out windows are famous for.
